A Medieval Weekend
My little brother and his wife are coming to town this weekend. I can’t wait for them to get here. It is going to be great. Tomorrow night we are going to Medieval Times. It is a themed restaurant and show. The outside of the building looks like a castle. Every time my brother would drive by it he would say, “someday I am going to go there.” Well I found out a couple of weeks ago it is closing down. So when Chris and Laura decided to come up this weekend, I knew we had go.
So I booked us reservations. It is going to be great. And today at Circuit City, I was able to get a new digital camera for 60% off. So I will take plenty of pictures. So stayed tuned…
Here is a funny video…

Whatever you do … do NOT let Topher get on a pony and joust!
Medieval Times is definitely fun, but none of our castles are closing (including the one in Schaumburg). So, after you and your brother check it out — and love it — you can go back anytime you like.
And for the next month, you can use code ROYAL09 to get a free upgrade to the Royalty Package.
Hey! Read your blog and I can assure you you’ll have a great time. I’d recommend paying the additional $10 for Royalty (preferred seating package). I’m not certain where you’re getting your information, but Medieval Times is definitely not going out of business. As a matter of fact, they have just launched a new show which is going gangbusters.
Enjoy
BOO-YAH. They called ya on it, Scotty. That new restaurant you were opening next door to MT (after you drove them outta business with your self serving rumors!) with the “Jolly Old England” theme … might want to rethink that now. It’s a shame, really. I was looking forward to playing Jack the Ripper…
